Monika Mangrulkar came to the US from Europe in the late 90s, bringing with her both an innate understanding of how different design styles can bring out the personality of a space and a raw eye for simply knowing what looks good. Once here, she began to harness these talents through formal training. The results have been nothing but consistent displays of innovative design and a completely satisfied client list.

From theatre set design, interior design, home staging to space redesign , Monika has called on her exposure to a wide array of styles and influences to be able to capture the essence of a space and present it in a way that is most appealing to the widest possible audience. She has been designing and redesigning for years, understanding exactly how and when to let personal touches come through to an audience versus  letting a space’s most natural and appealing attributes remain the focus.

Monika is both an accredited Home Staging Professional and certified Redesigner. Both are designations which reflect the sense of frugality with which she views her craft. The idea is not to tear everything down and manufacture a vision from scratch. Rather she will uncover the natural personality of the space and infuse it with a design style to emphasize and accessorize exactly these positive attributes. Obviously fully capable of designing an interior from top to bottom, the greater challenge, and the one she is able to consistently overcome, is to provide superior results without the requirement of breaking the bank.

talarek interiors was originally launched in the spring of 2005 with the goal of providing clients a way to redesign and reorganize their space in order to vastly improve their quality of life. The Troy, MI. based company has since focused on an audience that is keen on being able to present their living spaces for the purposes of selling or renting quickly while generating the highest revenue.
